Bites and Pieces - Taste for Adventure

The food blogosphere never sleeps. So Taste for Adventure editors scour the interweb for fresh recipes, tips and recommendations that deserve more love. Here are three finds we just had to share from the past week:

1. Roasted Chicken & Root Vegetables from Biscuits and Such

If you're having a big meal coming up, this could be just the thing: "Rubbed down with butter and stuffed with garlic cloves, it had brown crunchy skin and moist, flavorful meat. The vegetables were bursting with flavor, all pink from the beets in the mix."

2. Tomato Soup with Roasted Red Peppers from Andrea Meyers

Tomato soup really is just the thing for cold, wintry days. For those with spicier tendencies, this recipe brings the heat with fire roasted red peppers. So if you've been turned off by mild tomato soup in the past, try this recipe!

3. Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Cabbage and Pine Nuts from Vino Luci Style

When a food blogger doesn't get a photo of a recipe because they chomped it all down, it's generally a good sign! Lots of people are bummed out on Brussels sprouts, but as mentioned, it's often because of overcooked experiences from childhood. Consider giving them another go.

We'll be back next week to shine the spotlight on the best food bloggers!
