When it comes to breakfast, brunch or even lunch or breakfast for dinner, a recipe that tastes great and comes together with little hands-on time is awesome. It frees you up to do so many other things. Egg bakes fit that category perfectly.

There are so many different kinds of egg bakes out there. For instance, French toast can be assembled ahead of time and left in the fridge overnight for the egg to soak into the bread. Overnight French toast gets a delightful richness to it. Love it.

Another great egg bake? Frittatas. A frittata is an Italian omelet, baked in an oven safe pan and cooked a little on the stovetop and a little in the oven. Sliced up like a pie, frittatas are easy to serve and so versatile since you can combine a huge array of fillings to make them.

My favorite egg bake - for its ease and speed - is quiche, like this Quiche Lorraine. It takes just minutes to throw together and is such an impressive presentation - for any meal. Serve it up with a big salad.

What's your egg bake preference? Here are some tasty ideas to get you thinking.
