4 Halfway-to-Homemade Christmas Cookie Hacks

Created January 26, 2017
Holiday Cookie MashUp
Easy mix-started cookies are filled with mini candy bars, holiday M&M's and all the good stuff!

Hack #1: Chunky Chewy Snickerdoodles

Emphasis on the “Snickers™.” Regular snickerdoodles go one better with the addition of chopped Snickers™ candy bar pieces.

To make these beauties in a jiffy, just mix the dough according to package, stir in the chopped up pieces of candy and roll in cinnamon sugar before baking. It doesn’t get easier than that. GET RECIPE >>

Hack #2: Easy Holiday Oatmeal Cookies

SERIOUSLY. SO. GOOD. The addition of granola makes these taste like oatmeal chocolate chip cookies’ heartier, crunchier cousin. And who can resist festive red and green holiday M&M’s™?

For this mind-blowing shortcut, prepare the dough as directed on the package, stir in your favorite granola (we’re partial to Nature Valley) and the M&M’s™, then bake to finish; it really is that easy. GET RECIPE >>

Hack #3: Hot Cocoa Gingersnaps

Now, gingersnaps are good and all, but gingersnaps with chocolate in the middle and a marshmallow on top? Clearly the winner!

Just form the prepared dough into balls with a little chocolate at the center, roll them in sugar, and bake. Top each with a marshmallow for final 3-4 minutes of bake time. GET RECIPE >>

Hack #4: Triple Chocolate Cheesecake Cookies

With cream cheese mixed right into the batter and three—count ‘em, three—kinds of chocolate chips, these cookies are the definition of decadent.

To the mix, you’ll be adding both milk chocolate and white chocolate chips, plus cream cheese, because, yum. Then once these are out of the oven and cooled, you better believe they’re getting topped with a semi-sweet melted chocolate chip + cream cheese drizzle. The final step here is to devour (obviously).
