After the big Thanksgiving feast is over and Black Friday shopping is done, host a girlfriend’s Thanksgiving.
It’s a day to get your closest girlfriends together, give thanks to the wonderful friendships in your life and maybe do a little crafting for Christmas.
Set the table (one your girlfriends would appreciate!) with fresh flowers and add accents such as fresh seasonal fruit to dress it up. You don’t have to go overboard and make the traditional turkey again. Instead, you can have your friends recreate some of their favorite Thanksgiving dishes they enjoyed the previous week or combine your leftovers and pep up those ingredients into a different delectable dish.
Have a card and wrapping station set up on the side with fun paper, tape, name cards, embossing, ribbons and other fun wrapping accessories. After dinner you and your friends can make beautiful holiday cards and get some of your gift-wrapping done from your Black Friday scores.
Grab your beverages and move over to your comfy couches and play some fun and hilarious games like “Apples to Apples” and “Charades”. You’ll create such wonderful memories and get to spend quality time with your best friends during the busiest time of the year.
