How to Make Fruit Poppers

By TBSP Angela

Ditch the tired old party apps and think about getting fresh with fruit.

Sure, chips and dip taste pretty good, especially after a few drinks. But anyone who's ever tried to talk to a hottie after mowing down on French onion dip can tell you it doesn't leave the breath smelling so great.

So consider it a favor to your guests on the prowl – as well as those who just want to have odor-free conversation – to serve up awesome fruit poppers at your next get-together.

You can make an easy dip for strawberries by mixing together equal parts yogurt and whipped cream, and even take it to the next level by adding some shaved chocolate or chopped nuts to the dip.

No one can resist a raspberry, especially when it's filled with luscious dark chocolate. Just melt some chocolate in the microwave, checking on it and stirring every 30 seconds, and let it cool slightly before placing it in a pastry bag. Then, just stick the tip in the hollow of the raspberry and fill it until the chocolate is just visible.

It's super easy to make simple watermelon into a feast for the eyes. Just cut it into large slices and use a cookie cutter to make fun shapes. From there, you can top your melon "cookies" with smaller cantaloupe shapes and place them on top, securing with a toothpick.
