How To Manage Thanksgiving Leftovers!

There’s so much to love about Thanksgiving: the food, the family, the football, that second helping of pie followed by a nap on the sofa. It’s one holiday that’s got it all.

But it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a little controversy, whether it’s who gets the wishbone or who’s going to wash that mountain of dishes.

At my house, there’s one major issue that comes up every year: What to do with all those Thanksgiving leftovers!

If you’re already dreading weeks of reheated turkey and potatoes, then read on. We’ve compiled a juicy list of leftovers recipes with enough variety to keep things interesting well into December.

Go ahead: make Roasted Herb Turkey with Gravy, German Beets, Bread Stuffing, and an extra Pumpkin Pie while you’re at it. With leftover ideas this tasty, there’s no such thing as too much food.

Now it’s your turn: How do you make the most of Thanksgiving leftovers? Leave a comment and post your own favorite day-after recipes. We’d love to hear from you!

I love to make pot pies out of leftover turkey - I make a couple and them freeze them for an easy weeknight meal. I actually found my favorite here! http://www.tablespoon.com/recipes/classic-chicken-pot-pie-recipe/1/
