Christmas Goose & Other Traditions

Christmas is a wonderful time to create a true feast. One that celebrates family and togetherness, and impresses your in-laws with your cooking skills. And what better way to impress your family than by roasting a goose?

Nobody knows exactly when preparing a roast goose for Christmas became a tradition, but like most traditions, this one comes with a message: celebrate and be thankful.

Roasting a goose isn't the only Christmas tradition that we celebrate--the holiday is filled with them; from choosing the perfect tree and stringing it with lights to sitting around the fireplace on Christmas Eve with a nice cup of hot Egg Nog and a bowl of Oven Caramel Corn.

Who knows, maybe this year your Christmas tradition could include a delicious roast goose!

While Kix cereals do not have gluten-containing ingredients added to them, factors such as sourcing, conditions of manufacture, etc. do not allow us to provide the full level of assurance that a gluten-free claim requires. So these particular products cannot be guaranteed to be gluten-free. We do not hide gluten in any ingredients in any of our cereals. If there are gluten ingredients in our cereals, those ingredients, including wheat, barley, rye and oats, are always listed on the ingredient label. General Mills does offer a number of cereals that we do label as gluten free which you may also enjoy, including Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Honey Nut Chex, Strawberry Chex, Chocolate Chex, and Cinnamon Chex. My husband is irish descent. I going to try these new recipes I probably still make corned beef and cabbage and rest as nibblers see what he thinks

I am very happy about this! Since I have just found out that I have a gluten intolerance, I haven't been able to eat very many cereals. Now that Kix is all corn, I can eat it! Yay! It makes me even happier to know that the HFCS has been removed. I don't care what the commercials say, it's not natural.
