Slum Gull-ion A pretty easy dinner for dads that don't like to cook (as easy as box macaroni ... Almost) Ingredients 2-3 cups water (more as needed) 1 can Mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup ( if doing for 1 to 4 people or for less creamy... I recommend small can ... for family of 4 or more or more creamy recommend larger family sized can) 1/2 C (approximately) per person of either *uncooked regular rice or some kind of instant rice * cooking time will be longer if use regular rice rather than the instant rice 1.First put about 1-2 cups of water into large frying pan and add 1-2 pounds ground beef breaking it apart into water (yes this part will look gross and yes you want it soupy) bring to boil stirring occasionally ( about 1 - 4 times every minute to " break it up" into small pieces can stir less often if want big chunks. key to size of chunks is the times per minute you stir and how well you " break it up" into the water with your hands) once hamburger is cooked you can dump into a strainer over a bowl to drain off grease water then pour burger back into frying pan and brown up just a little. Add 1 large can condensed mushroom soup ( can use cream of chicken if do not like mushrooms). Rinse residue from can with 1/2 to 2/3 a can of milk and or water and pour into pan stirring to mix milk/water with the condensed soup and burger.... make sure its really soupy so may need to add more water as long as have room for it. Add rice and bring to boil. turn down heat and simmer till rice is cooked( some prefer to leave it a little soupy and others prefer it a bit dryer to be served with ketchup drizzled over the top ( that's my favorite way) spoon onto plates and enjoy
