It was baked in a dish with buter and a sugary sauce. It was around maybe in the 1930-1950's, not sure about the date, but that is a recipe my husband has been after me to make for over 50 years. I cannot find a recipe. Can anyone help. Since we are not young anymore our time is running out. Please, please help if you can. I will be forever thankful. God bless your efforts and Thanks in advance! Eudene in Ruskin, Florida

Well I have tried everything to make my Mama's "Applesauce Bars". Please tell me that someone out there might have one? I cannot find the recipe anywhere and I an running out of time..........Ahaaaaaaaaaa!!!! I remember that she used a simple runny frosting to go over the top. They were the best. I really hope someone out there can help me. I thank you kindly, Beyond Bent, Cindy
