I love fried Apple pies My mom alwaysy made them for us kids (8) slice apples about a medium slice i like to saute dfor f just a min or so. (in Butter) sweeten to taste, cinnamon,a i/half pat of butter.. sometimes i add a few raisins. roll out pie crustplace a large tablespoon of applemix in center.fold over seal with a little beaten egg white .brush around pie crust and seal and pinch together around edges and fry a couple at a time so you can watch and not get to brown. remove to paper towels..sprinkle with pd sugar. I fry apples frequently. No recipe however. Just put oleo in skillet. I usually end up using 1 stick. Slice unpeeled apples and saute in the butter. After cooking for a few minutes, add brown sugar to taste and let cook down into a nice syrup. I stir frequently to keep apples from sticking. When apples are soft and brown sugar has had time to cook down, just remove from pan and eat. Sometimes I add more oleo if I added way to much sugar for the amount of oleo I am using. I also like to throw in nuts, and hubby likes a few raisins occasionally.
