Three ingredient pumpkin pies. You, yes you, can do this.
I can't tell you how many times people complain to me that they can't cook or bake. But I'm a firm believer that if you can follow directions, you can cook.
You might not have the creative flair to be the world's best chef, but you can definitely get some decent –even pretty -- food on the table by just following directions.
This 3-Ingredient Pumpkin Pie
recipe is made from spiced up yogurt and premade mini graham cracker crusts.
There are NO excuses with this one. If you can open a container, you can make these in less than five minutes. Heck, you can make these in less than two minutes.
Some people enjoy pumpkin pies with a traditional pastry pie crust, but I've always preferred a graham cracker crust. Especially since this easy yogurt version of a pumpkin pie is more of a cream pie anyway.
These are inherently individually portioned so each person can indulge in a mini pumpkin pie by themselves. Add a little shot of whipped cream on top for some added creaminess and to up the presentation.
If adding a fourth ingredient (whipped cream) overwhelms you, j]ust stick to the three-ingredient version. But I think you can handle it...Christy joined the Tablespoon team to share her recipes and inspire family food fun. Watch her Tablespoon member profile for great new recipes!
