A fun way to learn the alphabet! Kids can shape and dip refrigerated breadsticks.

Ingredients

3
tablespoons sugar
1/2
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1
can (11 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated breadsticks

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Grease cookie sheets with shortening or spray with cooking spray. In small shallow bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  • 2 Unroll dough; separate into 12 breadsticks. Cut each breadstick in half crosswise. Shape each breadstick half into one of the following letters and place 1-inch apart on cookie sheets.
  • 3 To form the letter A, roll breadstick half into 10-inch rope. Lightly roll dough in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Cut 1-inch piece from one end of rope. Shape main part of A with remaining 9-inch rope; use 1-inch piece to cross middle of A.
  • 4 To form the letter B, roll breadstick half into 11-inch rope. Lightly roll dough in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Shape rope into the letter B.
  • 5 To form the letter C, roll breadstick half into 8-inch rope. Lightly roll dough in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Shape rope into the letter C.
  • 6 Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve with desired dipping sauce or spread.
Tips

Shape these breadsicks into any fun shape you like. Make numbers or letters and spell out your child's name.
