Fragrant, golden garlic, fresh chopped parsley and grated Parmesan coat thin strands of angel hair pasta. Heavenly.

Ingredients

package (16 ounces) capellini (angel hair) pasta
1/4
cup olive or vegetable oil
1/4
cup chopped fresh parsley
4
garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2
cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Freshly ground pepper

Directions

  • 1 Cook pasta as directed on package.
  • 2 While pasta is cooking, heat oil in 10-inch skillet over medium heat.
  • 3 Cook parsley and garlic in oil, stirring frequently, until garlic is golden. Drain pasta; mix with garlic mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve with pepper.
Tips  

Angel hair pasta--or capellini--is one of the thinnest spaghetti noodles. Legend has it that Parmesan cheese clings to this pasta like gold clings to angels' hair.

Keep leftovers to a minimum by cutting the recipe in half and serving in smaller portions.
