Creamy avocado and tart granny smith apples are blended together for a rich and satisfying smoothie.

Ingredients

avocado

Granny Smith apple, sliced
1/2
cup cold water
1/2
cup ice
1
tablespoon agave nectar

Directions

  • 1 Cut avocado in half; remove pit and discard. With spoon, scoop out avocado flesh from both halves. Place avocado in blender; discard peel.
  • 2 Add remaining ingredients to blender. Cover; blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.
Tips  

You can peel the apple for this smoothie or leave it unpeeled—whichever you prefer.

If you can’t find agave nectar, you may substitute the same amount of honey.

Garnish the smoothies with additional apple slices, if desired.
