These bites are the perfect game day snack or appetizer for any party. It all starts with some artichokes, gets a little love from some Parmesan and then wraps up in bacon.
Like I said, these bites are perfect. They're super easy, great for making ahead, and I can pretty much guarantee they will make for some very happy guests!
They are kind of like the new jalapeno popper, only there is a lot less work involved. Plus your eyes will not be burning for hours because you accidentally rubbed them after forgetting to wash your hands after touching the jalapenos. Yeah, been there, done that.
But don’t worry, these bites still have a little kick in them in the form of a spicy chipotle aioli. You're going to love the flavor!
All you need are some artichokes, Parmesan cheese, bacon and some black pepper.
Lay your bacon out flat and sprinkle it with a good amount of Parmesan. Then add the artichoke heart and roll it up.
If you want, you can secure the bacon in place with a toothpick, but it's not really necessary. Sprinkle the bites with a little Parmesan and pepper.
Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with foil and then… bake em! Yes, told you – so simple.
While the bites bake, make the spicy chipotle aioli sauce.
All you need to do is add the ingredients to a bowl and stir. Just be sure to store the aioli in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
Now, grab that bacon from the oven. It should look nice and crispy on the outside. I mean really, look at those things!
