can (15 oz) great northern beans, drained, rinsed
1
can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained, rinsed
1
ring (14 to 16 oz) beef smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2
cup chopped onion
1/2
cup ketchup
1/4
cup packed brown sugar
2
tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 1/2
teaspoons ground mustard
1 1/2
teaspoons chili powder

Directions

  • 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 5 to 7 hours.
Tips

Substitute other favorite smoked sausages for beef sausage. Try smoked turkey sausage or a spicy smoked sausage for a flavor twist.

Substitute other types of beans, such as Progresso® dark red kidney beans or black beans, for the great northern or pinto beans.
