Baked Buffalo Chicken WIngs with Blue Cheese Dip

My baked buffalo wings are just as delicious as the fried version, just a little more virtuous. Serve with blue cheese dip, carrots, and celery. Everyone will be cheering for this game day snack.

    Ingredients

    • 2 pounds chicken wings
    • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 3 tablespoons melted butter
    • 1/2 cup hot sauce
    • 4 Tablespoons honey
    • 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
    • 1 Tablespoon vinegar
    • 3 whole green onions, chopped
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

    Directions

    1. 1Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl. Add the vegetable oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Toss to coat completely. Line a baking sheet with foil and place the chicken wings in a single layer. Bake for 25 minutes or until just done.
    2. 2In a large bowl, mix together melted butter, hot sauce, honey, and vinegar. Add the cooked chicken wings and coat completely with the hot sauce.
    3. 3Mix together the sour cream, blue cheese crumbles, vinegar, green onions, salt and pepper. Serve with the chicken wings.
