Bake these simple turnovers filled with cherry filling and pecans made using Pillsbury® pie crusts – a delectable fruit dessert.

Ingredients

1
box Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
1
cup cherry, apple or peach pie filling (from 21-oz can)
1/4
cup chopped pecans, toasted
1
tablespoon sugar
1/4
teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 425°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Remove pie crusts from pouches; unroll on work surface or cutting board. Cut each crust into 6 wedges.
  • 2 In medium bowl, stir together pie filling and pecans; spoon mixture evenly in center of 6 wedges. Top each with another wedge. Moisten edges of pastry with water; press edges with fork to seal. Place turnovers on cookie sheet.
  • 3 Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. In small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over turnovers. Serve warm.
