Enjoy tender winter squash with a yummy maple syrup-cinnamony glaze.

Ingredients

Acorn, buttercup or butternut squash
Reduced-calorie or regular maple-flavored syrup
Ground cinnamon

Directions

  • 1 Cut squash lengthwise in half; remove seeds and fibers. Place squash, cut sides up, in baking dish. Squeeze a little syrup into each half; brush over cut edges. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour water into baking dish until 1/4 inch deep. Cover and bake at 325°F about 45 minutes, 350°F about 40 minutes or 400°F about 35 minutes or until tender.
