Banana Cream Jello Shots

These boozy jello shots are stirred together in minutes, full of banana cream flavor, and finished in a banana-shaped mold. A fun tropical-themed adults-only party treat!

Ingredients

1
package (3 ounce) unflavored or Jell-O™ banana-flavored
1
cup boiling water
3
ounces heavy cream
2
ounces 99 proof banana liqueur
1
ounce rum
Betty Crocker™ yellow gel food color

Directions

  • 1 In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin into water. Quickly whisk in cream, banana liqueur, and rum. Add food coloring and whisk until combined.
  • 2 Spoon jello mixture into banana-shaped molds, or pour into a parchment-lined 9x9-inch baking pan. Refrigerate until firm, about 2-3 hours.
  • 3 To remove bananas from the mold, gently pull the edges of the mold away from the jello shot. Carefully remove and place on serving dish. Enjoy!

Step By Step

Like bananas? Then like these! BOOZY banana-flavored jelly shots.

As prepared by Cheeky Kitchen,

Super easy to mix up, then just let 'em gel into little banana-shaped jelly shots!

Any recipe that starts with a bottle of Banana Liqueur has *got* to end well.

That’s not what the guys giggling behind me at the liquor store were thinking.

Banana Cream Jelly Shots

Them, with their judgy boxes of Man Beer. Me with my single shining bottle of bright yellow 99 Bananas.

What do they know? Bananas are a blast.

This is basically the simplest recipe ever, so let's make 'em:

Banana Cream Jelly Shots

Dissolve gelatin in hot water and whisk in the booze.

Banana Cream Jelly Shots

Then whisk in some cream.

Banana Cream Jelly Shots

Use some yellow food colour to make them 'naner-bright. (Did you see that? Sometimes booze makes you spell British-like. Be warned.)

Banana Cream Jelly Shots

To make these cuter than cute, use a food-safe banana silicone mold. Yes, there’s such a thing. Yes, you need it in your life.

Banana Cream Jelly Shots

Then spoon and refrigerate.

Banana Cream Jelly Shots

Carefully lift the mold away from your baby bananas.

Banana Cream Jelly Shots

And place those cutie pies on a serving plate.

Banana Cream Jelly Shots

Then tell those beer-buying boys in the liquor store to come on over for shots. They don’t know it yet, but they’re a couple slurps away from going totally bananas ... over bananas.

Slurp. Slurp. Wahoooo!
