A muffin in the morning. Cheerios™ cereal and bananas make a terrific pick-me-up for those on the go.

Ingredients

cups Cheerios™ cereal
1 1/4
cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/3
cup packed brown sugar
1
teaspoon baking powder

teaspoon baking soda
1
cup mashed very ripe bananas (2 to 3 medium)
2/3
cup fat-free (skim) milk
3
tablespoons vegetable oil
1
egg white

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray, or grease bottoms only of muffin cups.
  • 2 Crush cereal. In large bowl, stir together cereal, flour, brown sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  • 3 Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
Tips  

Sprinkle muffins with powdered sugar just before serving.
