    Ingredients

    • 1  (15-oz.) box Pillsbury® Refrigerated Pie Crusts
    • 1  teaspoon flour
    • FILLING
    • 3/4  cup sugar
    • 1/2  cup All Purpose or Unbleached Flour
    • 1/4  teaspoon salt
    • 2 1/4  cups milk
    • 3  egg yolks or 2 whole eggs
    • 3  tablespoons margarine or butter
    • 1 1/2  teaspoons vanilla
    • Whipping cream, whipped, sweetened

    Directions

    1. 1Heat oven to 450°F. Prepare pie crust according to conventional ormicrowave* package directions for unfilled one-crust pie using 9-inch piepan. (Refrigerate remaining crust for later use.) Bake at 450°F. for 9 to11 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.
    2. 2Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In medium saucepan,combine sugar, flour and salt. In medium bowl, beat milk and egg yolks untilsmooth; stir into sugar mixture. Cook over medium-low heat until mixtureboils and thickens, using wire whisk stir constantly. Boil slowly 1 minute.Remove from heat. Add margarine and vanilla; stir until margarine is melted.Pour hot filling into cooled crust.
