  • 6  slices bacon
  • 1  cup chopped onions
  • 1  garlic clove, minced
  • 1  (15 1/2-oz.) can Joan of Arc Fancy Butter Beans, drained
  • 1  (15 1/2-oz.) can Joan of Arc Fancy Great Northern Beans, drained
  • 1  (15 1/2-oz.) can Joan of Arc Fancy Red Kidney Beans, drained
  • 1  (15-oz.) can Joan of Arc Fancy Garbanzo Beans, drained
  • 3/4  cup catsup
  • 1/2  cup light molasses
  • 1/4  cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1  tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1  tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1/4  teaspoon pepper
  • 1  small onion, sliced, separated into rings

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. In small skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Drain onpaper towels, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon;set aside. Saute 1 cup onions and garlic in reserved drippings untilonions are tender but not browned; drain. In 2 1/2-quart bean pot or deepcasserole, combine all beans, bacon, onion mixture, catsup, molasses, brownsugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and pepper; mix well. Cover. Bake at375°F. for 1 hour or until thoroughly heated. Garnish with onion rings.
