Use Pillsbury™ pizza crust to bake this hearty beef and bacon pizza – a flavorful dinner.

Ingredients

1/2
lb ground beef sirloin
1 1/4
cups sliced onions
3
cloves garlic, finely chopped
1
teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary leaves
1/2
teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1
tablespoon yellow cornmeal
1
can (13.8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated classic pizza crust
1/2
cup marinara sauce
1
cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
1/2
cup grated Parmesan cheese
4
slices center-cut bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 450° F. Spray 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked. Drain; set beef aside. Add onions to skillet; cook 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and beginning to brown. Add garlic; cook 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in beef, rosemary and pepper. Sprinkle cornmeal on pizza pan. Unroll dough; place in pan. Starting at center, press out dough to edge of pan. Spread marinara sauce over dough to within 1/2 inch of edge. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Spread beef mixture evenly over cheese. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and the Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with bacon.
  • 2 Bake 15 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted. Cut into wedges to serve. Garnish with additional rosemary, if desired.
