Progresso® broth provides a simple addition to this ground beef chow mein dinner packed with sprouts, chestnuts, pimientos and mushroom pieces. Perfect if you love Asian cuisine.

Ingredients

1
lb lean ground beef
1 1/2
cups sliced celery
1
can (16 oz) bean sprouts, drained
1
can ( 8 oz) sliced water chestnuts, drained
1
can (4 oz) mushroom pieces and stems, drained
1 3/4
cups Progresso™ beef flavored broth (from 32-oz. carton)
1
jar (2 oz) diced pimientos, drained
2
tablespoons soy sauce
1/2
teaspoon ginger
2
tablespoons cornstarch
3
tablespoons water
4
cups chow mein noodles or hot cooked rice

Directions

  • 1 Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.
  • 2 Add celery, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, mushrooms, broth, piementos, soy sauce and ginger; mix well. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
