    • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
    • 4  eggs, beaten
    • 8 slices crisp turkey bacon
    • 1 cup fat free milk
    • 1/2 cup beer, try a good honey lager
    • 1 tablespoon onion, diced

    Directions

    1. 1Toss cheese with flour, salt and mustard. In a seperate bowl, mix crumbled bacon, eggs, milk, beer and onion. Add cheese mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shelll. Bake at 350 for 45 mins or until golden brown on top. The middle of the quiche should be set and not liquid, use a knife or fork to test it.
    2. 2 I love to play with this recipie, sometimes I use sausage or other flavorful meat. You can add in one or two extra ingredients like mushrooms or spinich, about 1/2 cup per extra ingredient. You will find that you might have a bit of left over liquid if you add in extra ingredients. I have found that there are times when it takes almost 50 mins to get the top as golden brown as I would like it. Remember to take a picture of it as soon as it gets out of the oven, it is beautiful!
    3. 3Depending on how you prepare this, it can be ovolacteo vegan!
