Ingredients

lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef

cup chopped onion

clove garlic, finely chopped

cup beer

box Hamburger Helper™ cheeseburger macaroni

slices bacon, chopped, cooked

can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained

Directions

  • 1 In 12-inch skillet, brown beef, onion and garlic over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
  • 2 Stir in hot water, beer, milk, sauce mix and uncooked pasta (from Hamburger Helper box), cooked bacon and mushrooms. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
