More About This Recipe

  • Do you remember your first kiss?

You were probably a little nervous…and then BAM! There you were, weak in the knees and feeling all gooey inside. Over faster than it started, you stood there thinking to yourself, ‘What just happened?’ Well, as hard as it may be to believe, the Best Buttah Kiss Evah may just take you right back to that Sweet Valley High moment.

I was a little hesitant making these because, truth be told, I’m not a fan of dark chocolate. But there was something about the combination of butterscotch pudding, caramel and whipped cream in a tiny chocolate cup that I just could not resist. Six kisses in my belly and 90 seconds later, I knew I had made chocolate dessert gold. Bonus: Not only is it crazy good, it’s also the easiest party dessert to make.

For this recipe, I used Belgian Dark Chocolate Cordial & Toasting Cups. You can find them in most grocery stores for about five dollars for a box of 12.

Next, fill the bottom of the cup with a small layer of caramel syrup.

Now comes the love. Fill the rest of the cup about ¾ of the way with butterscotch pudding.

If you’re going to serve right away, top with whipped cream. Otherwise, it will melt fairly quickly and get a little sloppy (and nobody likes a sloppy kiss, am I right?). Add a raspberry for some color, and you’re done.

If you try them, I hope you like them. Come back and let me know!
