Ingredients

cup peanut butter

tablespoons apricot preserves

teaspoon ground mustard

slices raisin bread

medium unpeeled or peeled eating apples, thinly sliced
Salad greens, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Mix peanut butter, preserves and mustard; spread on 8 slices bread.
  • 2 Arrange apple slices and salad greens on peanut butter mixture. Top with remaining bread.
Tips  

Golden Delicious apples naturally keep from browning after cutting, making them a good choice when adding apple slices to sandwiches.

Red leaf lettuce has a great color that would suit these party sandwiches perfectly.

Cinnamon-swirled bread used for the raisin bread can make this one snazzy sandwich!
