A variation of mulled wine is the Bishop, which substitutes Ruby Port for your favorite red wine.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Ruby Port
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoon mixed mulled spices (cinnamon, cloves, allspice)
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 orange
  • 6 cinnamon sticks

Steps

    Pour the red wine into a pitcher.
  • 2
    Slice the orange and add the slices to the pitcher.
  • 3
    Bring the orange juice, sugar and the mulled spices to a light simmer and cook 10 minutes.

    Strain the orange juice into the pitcher. Discard spices.
  • 5
    Marinate mulled sangria in the fridge for an hour.
  • 6
    Serve each glass with a cinnamon stick!
