Ingredients

Bread

cup plus 1 tablespoon water

tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

egg

cups Gold Medal® Better for Bread™ flour
1/2
teaspoon grated orange peel
1/4
cup granulated sugar

tablespoons instant nonfat dry milk
1 1/2
tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 1/4
teaspoons salt
2
teaspoons bread machine or quick active dry yeast
Orange
Glaze
3/4
cup powdered sugar
1
tablespoon orange juice

Directions

  • 1 Measure carefully, placing all bread ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  • 2 Select Sweet or Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Do not use delay cycle. Remove baked bread from pan; cool on cooling rack.
  • 3 In small bowl, mix glaze ingredients until smooth and spreadable. Spoon glaze over cooled loaf.
Tips  

Expert Tips

While you’re grating orange peel for this recipe, go ahead and grate the peel of 2 or 3 oranges. Wrap extra grated peel tightly in plastic wrap and freeze for later use.
