Savor the fall season with these fried poppers made using Pillsbury® biscuits. A homemade addition to your bread basket that’s ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1/3
cup spreadable Brie cheese
3
tablespoons fig preserves
1/4
teaspoon grated orange peel
1/4
teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary leaves
1
can (12 oz) Pillsbury™ Simply...™ refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Vegetable oil for deep frying

Directions

  • 1 In small bowl, stir together cheese, preserves, orange peel and rosemary; set aside.
  • 2 Separate dough into 10 biscuits; cut each biscuit in half crosswise. Press each half into 2-inch round. Spoon 1 teaspoon cheese mixture in center of each round. Fold dough over filling, covering completely; press firmly to seal.
  • 3 In deep fryer or Dutch oven, heat 2 inches oil to 375°F. Fry biscuits, about 4 at a time, in hot oil 2 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
Tips
