Cheese with broccoli is simply too good to resist. Adding cheese is a great way to get kids to eat their veggies!

Ingredients

1
pound lean ground beef
1
package Hamburger Helper™ cheeseburger macaroni
1
cup milk
3
cups hot water
1
package (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli
1
package (3 ounces) cream cheese, cut into cubes

Directions

  • 1 Brown ground beef in 10-inch skillet; drain.
  • 2 Stir in uncooked Pasta, Sauce Mix, milk, water and broccoli. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Stir in cream cheese; reduce heat.
  • 3 Cover and simmer 13 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally; remove from heat. Uncover and let stand about 5 minutes or until sauce is as thick as you'd like. Stir before serving.
Tips

Low-fat cream cheese works in place of regular, but don’t bother using the fat-free variety. Fat-free cream cheese won’t melt into a smooth, creamy sauce.

Serve leftovers over hot baked potatoes for a one-dish meal!
