A food processor turns a traditional Indian dip into a creamy veggie sauce.

Ingredients

Saucy Hummus
1 1/2
pounds broccoli spears

Directions

  • 1 Prepare Saucy Hummus.
  • 2 Heat 1 inch water (salted if desired) to boiling in 3-quart saucepan. Add broccoli.
  • 3 Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until stems are tender. Serve sauce over broccoli.
Tips  

Any steamed or boiled veggie can be used in place of the broccoli. Green beans or cauliflower go especially well with the saucy hummus.

This super-easy hummus also doubles as an appetizer dip. Serve it with pita bread that you’ve cut into wedges.
