Looking for a simple-yet-flavorful dinner idea? Then check out this broiled beef steak and mushrooms recipe that’s prepared in mere 15 minutes using Sliced Mushrooms.

Ingredients

1
(13 oz.) beef T-bone or rib steak, cut 3/4 inch thick
1/2
teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4
cup prepared barbecue sauce
2
tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
1/2
teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1
(2.5-oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained

Directions

  • 1 Place steak on broiler pan. Brush both sides of steak with 1/2 teaspoon of the Worcestershire sauce. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat about 5 minutes or until steak is browned. Turn steak; broil to desired doneness, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in small saucepan combine all remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat until green pepper is crisp-tender and sauce is thoroughly heated. Serve over steak.
Tips

T-bone or rib steak is a tender, flavorful cut of beef to use for this recipe. For the freshest beef, select meat that is red in color with creamy white fat.
