Add a lil' spice to your fall menu with this slow cooked chicken appetizer that’s served with blue cheese dressing.

Ingredients

3
lb chicken wing drummettes, skinned
1/4
teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Cooking spray
3/4
cup Buffalo wing sauce
2
tablespoons cider vinegar
1
teaspoon reduced-sodium Worcestershire sauce
2
cloves garlic, finely chopped
Blue cheese dressing, if desired
Carrot and celery sticks, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 450°F. Line 15x10x1-inch pan with foil; spray foil with cooking spray.
  • 2 Place chicken in pan; sprinkle with pepper. Lightly spray chicken with cooking spray. Bake uncovered 7 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 3 Meanwhile, spray 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix Buffalo wing sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and garlic.
  • 4 Remove chicken from pan; drain on paper towels. Add chicken to slow cooker, tossing gently to coat with sauce.
  • 5 Cover; cook on High heat setting 3 hours or until chicken is no longer pink in center. Serve with blue cheese dressing and carrot and celery sticks.
