    Ingredients

    • 1 cup Gold Medal whole wheat flour
    • 1 cup Gold Medal bread flour
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    • 1 1/2 cups beer (the lighter in color, the better)
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 3 tablespoons buffalo wing sauce or hot sauce
    • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder

    Directions

    1. 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
    2. 2Combine and stir all ingredients in a large bowl with a spatula.
    3. 3Pour into a lightly greased 8-by-4-inch loaf pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 30 to 40 minutes.
    4. 4Allow to cool 10 minutes in pan, then completely out of the pan on a cooling rack before slicing or serving.
    5. 5Serve with ranch dip or blue cheese dip, if desired.
