Like a lot of cooks, you probably tweak recipes slightly to suit your family's tastes and diets. A little extra spice here... sub low-fat sour cream there...
When you create your own version of a Tablespoon.com recipe, you're doing the same thing. The only difference? You're recording your changes.
So next time you want to make that chicken parmesan everybody loved so much, you'll be able to view exactly what you changed. Plus, you can share your recipe so others can try it too.
Pretty nifty, huh?

The varieties of tortellini available in the refrigerated section of the supermarket are growing. Try some of these other flavors, as well, in this recipe.
Add grilled chicken or beef, cut into strips, for a heartier meal.
Surprise everyone by serving apple or cherry crisp for dessert--no one will know you didn't even bake it! Heat canned apple or cherry pie filling, and top with granola and whipped cream.
How do you grind peppercorns? It’s easy using a mortar and pestle, mini-food processor or spice or coffee grinder. Or place them in a resealable plastic bag and pound with a meat mallet or rolling pin.
