Bake this delicious dessert using Pillsbury® chocolate chip cookies - a yummy treat that's ready in just 45 minutes!

Ingredients

1
roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated chocolate chip cookies
3
milk chocolate-covered nougat and caramel candy bars (2.05 oz each), unwrapped, chopped
1/4
cup butter or margarine
1
tablespoon milk
1
cup powdered sugar

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Cut cookie dough into 18 slices. Shape each slice into 1 1/4-inch ball; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 2 Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  • 3 Meanwhile, in small saucepan, combine 2 of the chopped candy bars and the butter. Cook over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; beat in milk and powdered sugar with electric mixer on low speed until smooth.
  • 4 Frost cooled cookies with warm frosting. Immediately sprinkle remaining chopped candy bar over frosted cookies; press lightly into frosting.
Tips

You could substitute sugar or chocolate chunk cookies instead of the chocolate chip.

Wrap the cooled cookies in a pretty box tied with a festive bow and present as a special gift.
