Add something flavorful to your family’s Chinese dinner! Serve this delicious baked fish sprinkled with sesame seed - a dish that's ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

2
tablespoons orange juice
1
tablespoon regular or lite soy sauce
2
teaspoons lemon juice
1
teaspoon brown sugar
1
teaspoon grated gingerroot
1/2
teaspoon vegetable or sesame oil
Dash pepper
2
(4-oz.) orange roughy fillets
1
teaspoon sesame seed, toasted, if desired*

Directions

  • 1 In 8-inch square (2-quart) baking dish, combine all ingredients except orange roughy fillets and sesame seed; mix well. Place fish in soy sauce mixture; turn to coat. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to marinate.
  • 2 Meanwhile, heat oven to 375°F. Cover baking dish with foil. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. If desired, a small amount of sauce can be spooned over each serving. Place fish on serving platter; sprinkle with sesame seed.
Tips

* To toast sesame seed, spread in small skillet; stir over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until light golden brown.
