    Ingredients

    • 1/2  cup butter or margarine
    • 1 1/2  cups firmly packed brown sugar
    • 2  tablespoons light corn syrup
    • 1/2  cup whipping cream

    Directions

    1. 1MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In 4-cup microwave-safe glass measuring cup, melt butter on HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in brown sugar and syrup. Microwave on HIGH for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes or until mixture boils, stirring after every minute. Stir in whipping cream. Microwave on HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until mixture boils. Cool to room temperature. Store in refrigerator.
    2. 2CONVENTIONAL DIRECTIONS: In medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar and syrup. Bring to a boil; cook until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Stir in whipping cream and bring to a boil again. Remove from heat. Serve warm. Store in refrigerator.
