Sensational and simple—with a little kick from jerk seasoning.

Ingredients

teaspoon Caribbean jerk seasoning (dry)
1
container (8 oz) whipped cream cheese spread
1/4
teaspoon grated lime peel
1/2
lb cooked deveined peeled shrimp, tails removed, chopped
4
medium green onions, chopped (1/4 cup)
2
tablespoons chopped red bell pepper
2
tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese
Assorted crackers or cut-up vegetables, as desired

Directions

  • 1 Stir seasoning into cream cheese container. Spread mixture on large serving plate or dinner plate.
  • 2 Top with lime peel, shrimp, onions, bell pepper and cheese.
  • 3 Serve immediately with crackers or vegetables, or cover and refrigerate until serving time.
Tips  

Top with some chopped fresh mango for more of a Caribbean twist.

Chill the serving plate ahead of time to keep the ingredients cold for a longer period of time.
