Turn a two-layer cake into something spectacular with our celebration ball cake made with Betty Crocker Party Rainbow Chip Cake, candy melts and creamy white frosting.
Top the cake with a fun decoration in colors to match the cake balls. Check craft stores, or even the wrapping paper aisle for gift toppers, for ideas. If you have leftover cake balls after the side of the cake is covered, you could insert them in the top of the cake.
If you don’t have 4 (8-inch) round cake pans, bake 1 cake mix in a 13x9-inch pan and use that cake to make the cake balls.
Use other candy melt colors of your choice to suit the occasion or party theme.
