Roasted red bell peppers add a new twist to a classic.

Ingredients

1
(10.2-oz.) can (5 biscuits) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits
2
oz. (1/2 cup) shredded Swiss cheese
2
oz. (1/2 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3
cup roasted red bell pepper (from a jar), cut into strips

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Separate dough into 5 biscuits. Press or roll each to form 5 1/2-inch round.
  • 2 Sprinkle all cheeses evenly onto biscuits. Top each with pepper strips. Fold half of biscuit over filling; seal edges. Press edges firmly with fork to seal. Cut 3 slits in top of each for steam to escape. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 3 Bake at 375°F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until deep golden brown.
Tips

To roast your own bell peppers, broil or grill them. As the skin on the side near the heat blackens, turn the peppers to expose a new side. When the peppers are completely blackened, remove them from the heat. When they're cool enough to handle, peel off the blackened skin to reveal sweet roasted pepper that you can cut into strips and use for tasty additions to salads and sandwiches--as well as calzones.
