Ingredients

  • 1/4  cup (1/2 stick) margarine or butter
  • 1/4  cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
  • 1/4  teaspoon paprika
  • 2  cups milk
  • 1 1/2  cans (10-ounce size) enchilada sauce (about 1 1/4 cups)
  • 1 1/2  cups shredded Cheddar cheese (6 ounces)
  • 3/4  cup sliced pitted ripe olives
  • 4  drops red pepper sauce

Directions

  1. Heat margarine in 2-quart saucepan over low heat until melted. Stir in flour and paprika. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in milk and enchilada sauce. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted.
