Give your team a leg up with “underdogs” – a bite-sized Crescent dog with a surprise of chive and onion cream cheese and green olives under the dog!

Ingredients

2
cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2
cup chive-and-onion cream cheese spread
24
pimiento-stuffed green olives, halved
48
cocktail-sized smoked link sausages or hot dogs (from two 14-oz packages)

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Separate each can of crescent dough into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow triangles.
  • 2 Place 1/2 teaspoon cream cheese on shortest side of each triangle; top with olive half and 1 sausage. Roll up, starting at shortest side of each triangle and rolling to opposite point; place point side down on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 3 Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown, switching position of cookie sheets halfway through baking. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm.
Tips

Pickled jalapeño pepper or black olive slices are both flavorful options for the green olive.
