Nachos like you've never seen them before! Chex cereal is the base for these super shareable taco style nachos.

Ingredients

tablespoons butter, melted
1
tablespoon Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix (from 1-oz package)
5
cups Corn Chex™ cereal
2
cups shredded Mexican cheese blend (8 oz)
3/4
cup shredded lettuce, roughly chopped
1
plum (Roma) tomato, chopped
3
tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
3
tablespoons sliced ripe olives
Salsa, if desired
Sour cream, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Line 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking parchment paper. In large bowl, mix melted butter and taco seasoning mix. Add cereal; toss to coat. Spread mixture in single layer in pan. Bake 3 minutes.
  • 2 Sprinkle evenly with cheese. Bake 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • 3 Top with lettuce, tomato, cilantro and ripe olives. Drizzle with salsa and sour cream. Serve immediately.
Tips  

Prepare toppings before baking so you can serve immediately.
