Favorite malt flavors of chocolate and cherry are married in a no-bake crunchy snack.

Ingredients

cups Corn Chex™ cereal
2
cups Rice Chex™ cereal
2
cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
1
cup dry-roasted peanuts
1
cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4
cup butter or margarine
1
cup natural-flavor malted milk powder
2
cups miniature marshmallows
1 1/2
cups coarsely chopped malted milk balls
1/2
cup dried cherries, chopped

Directions

  • 1 In large bowl, mix cereals and peanuts.
  • 2 In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips and butter on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
  • 3 Gradually stir in malted milk powder until evenly coated. Stir in remaining ingredients. spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
Tips  

Use 6 cups Multi-Grain Chex® cereal instead of the three different types, if you like.

Malted milk balls can be coarsely chopped in a food processor.
