Like a lot of cooks, you probably tweak recipes slightly to suit your family's tastes and diets. A little extra spice here... sub low-fat sour cream there...
When you create your own version of a Tablespoon.com recipe, you're doing the same thing. The only difference? You're recording your changes.
So next time you want to make that chicken parmesan everybody loved so much, you'll be able to view exactly what you changed. Plus, you can share your recipe so others can try it too.
Pretty nifty, huh?

Remove chicken from bones, remove skin, cube into bite sized pieces.
Dice garlic
Chop onion, celery, and carrots.
Heat olive oil and add in all vegetables. Let sweat (not fry, don't let it sizzle a lot) until celery and onion are tender and semi-transparent. About 10-15 mins.
Add in chicken broth, boullion cube, and about half the water.
Add in cubed chicken, and bring to a boil.
If water level seems low add in more water until level is above vegetables by about 1/2 in. Add turmeric.
Prepare biscuit dough recipe according to directions on package. Drop large spoonfuls into boiling pot. Cover.
Let simmer about 3 mins. stirring occasionally. Then carefully flip each dumpling over to cook the other side about another 5 mins.
When dumplings are tender but no longer doughy they are done. Salt and Pepper to taste. Serve hot and tasty!
