This is beyond ridiculous - if you're exhausted and your family is starving when you bring home a (cooked!) rotisserie chx, why on earth would you go to the trouble of making a whole recipe out of it to re-cook it?? Just make a salad and eat.

IF you're a real cook, home or professional, would have enough common sense to only use fresh everything. Most people with any sense would only use this for ideas.

We've run the recipe by our food safety team and have updated Step 5 to ensure the chicken is getting thoroughly heated — just be sure to check the temperature before enjoying.

I just noticed the "name" of the recipe ("to die for"). Someone should CHECK THESE RECIPES FOR UNHEALTHY PRACTICES!!! I also noticed that General Mills is involved (so they have plenty of test kitchens). Any food handler worth his/her salt, KNOWS that you have to be careful about chicken (cooked as well as raw). And, bringing home a chicken from a rotisserie and then reheating the chicken (for 20 minutes on a grill) can be VERY dicey! (The very person who would try a dippy "recipe" like this is the very same person who does not recognize the inherent dangers in a recipe like this.) Someone who is aware of food safety would NEVER waste their time on a recipe like this. We are AWASH in tens of thousands of good recipes!!!! We are NOT so desperate for recipes that we need to invent recipes that are potentially dangerous! (A working mom who brings home a pre-cooked chicken will make her family happy; there is nothing wrong with having someone else cook dinner. But concentrate on making a nice salad, or some good vegetables if you want to impress your family. DO NOT make them something out of "recooked" chicken. The results are NOT worth the effort. Almost everyone likes roasted chicken. Don't be fooled into "making it your own by wasting time with this loser." Your family just wants a good and happy meal, not something that is "cutesy" that could make them sick!!! ARE YOU LISTENING GENERAL MILLS????

I'll bet many diferent kinds of soup would make for interesting variations. I'll use fresh green beans or squash to change it up!
